John T. Schroeder - Vice President

A Consultant with The Timothy Group, John Schroeder offers clients more than 20 years of experience in financial development.

His previous positions include responsibilities in corporate sales and employment counseling as a business owner. He has been a Salvation Army Service Extension Director, a Salvation Army Divisional Development Director and Director of Advancement for the Acton Institute, an educational think tank.

This experience has given John special expertise in annual giving, capital campaigns, major donor solicitation, planned giving, foundation solicitation, public relations, direct mail, volunteer management, special events, web site development and team leading.

John attended Tulane University, where he pursued undergraduate studies in Engineering. He and his wife Margaret are members (soldiers) of the Grand Rapids Salvation Army Fulton Heights Corps.
