Howard F. Nourse, Ph.D. - Executive Vice President

As Executive Vice President and a Partner of The Timothy Group, Dr. Howard Nourse serves clients in the areas of capital campaigns, major donor solicitation training and strategy, planned giving, development assessments, pre-campaign studies and strategic planning.

A member of the 1960 Ohio State NCAA basketball championship team, Howard was involved in Christian higher education as an athletic director, coach and administrator for over 16 years. Prior to joining The Timothy Group, he served as a consultant for a national consulting firm and as Vice President of the Institutional Advancement at Milligan College.

Howard has successfully led campaigns with churches and para-church ministries, focusing on a planned approach to helping individuals recognize and grow in their role as stewards of God’s resources. He leads work shops for such organizations as the Christian Stewardship Association, Christian Management Association, Evangelical Development Ministry and the Association of Christian Schools International.

Howard earned a Ph.D. in administration from the College of Education at The Ohio State University. He and his wife Judy are active members of Kentwood Community Church.
